Question:

Looking for advice for touring Israel?

I've got about 6 days to tour Israel, so I'm thinking it might be most efficient to take daily or 2-3 day tours. Can anyone recommend a good tour company that does small groups, is reasonable, and has GREAT tour guides? I found one group called, "Bein Harim Tourism Services LTD" and am wondering if this is a good company.

Also, any recommendations on great hotels in Israel that are reasonable but are situated in great locations?

This is by no means comprehensive, but it helps one find available guides based on individual interests and requirements.

Regarding hotels, it depends on preference factors, ie., centrally located large hotels, boutique hotels, etc.  Some tourists won't pass up the chance to stay in Jerusalem, while others want to be in a city like Tel Aviv. You can take day trips to the north or south with guides or with bus tour companies from anywhere in the center of the country; both Jerusalem & T.A. are fine from that perspective.
