Looking for an 80's horror movie?

It was made in the late 80's i think, possibly the early 90's. All I remember is a a scene where they go to a house that is supposed to be haunted. They go there to set up a prank and make it look haunted. I remember they have a radio that plays screams, and I think I remember a fake severed arm. They are setting it up I think possibly as a Frat house initiation, but I'm not 100%. I remember them all sitting outside of the house in a car or truck as other ppl are inside setting up, but I think someone is killed and screaming but they think it is the radio that they brought. Sorry that I all I can remember.

The only movie I can think of that sounds similar is Night of the Demons
