Looking for an artist that explores the idea of the 'physical world'...?

An artist (PREFERABLY a photographer) that explores the idea of the physical world,

I was thinking perhaps how humans 'change' the world, as in architecture and city vs. rural areas.

Really can't find any artists though and I need to do some artist research for my new art and design project.

Try the website flicker, its mostly film but you could take stills from it if you are looking for photography.

www.worldviewofglobalwarming.org has photographs showing you how the world is changing due to global warming.
