Looking for an image of the view from the cockpit of a WWII fighter plane?

can you help me? i am a muralist, and tomorrow i need to paint a mural of my clients son as if he were sitting in the cockpit of a WWII fighter plane.i dont know how exactly to describe it, but i want to be able to see the controls and the viewfinder( or whatever its called)...you know...the round scope-looking thingy to find a target.

any suggestions or links to pics? i tried google images and couldnt really find what i am after. thanks for any and all input :)

  4. not sure if this will help, but try typing in p-51 mustang or p-47 thunderbolt, these were two of the main WWII fighters of the US Airforce.  I also went to a WWII Fighter Show this summer and have given you the link below, there are several other links to pictures, I hope this helps, if it doesn't please let me know and I have a few other links that might help.

  5. go to www.airliners.net. they have almost any picture of any aircraft in any form.
