i work in a day nursery.

here are a few suggestions...

cornflour play- its just cornflour and water and its really really fun. it goes all hard then when removed its all wet you can roll it into a ball then when you open your hand out it drips away. its amazing. cleans up really well too, just sweeps away.

you could also spaghetti paint. cook spaghetti and add powder paint. place a piece of paper on top or drop spaghetti onto it. really fun.

pictures for kids to paint is boring and destroys their imagination.
