Looking for best camera and camcorder in one.?

I am looking for the best camera and camcorder all in one. Does anyone know what is the best to get?

I could be wrong but I don't think such a product exists. You always have a camera good at pictures but not so good at movies and a camcorder which is good at recording moving images but not so good at photos. It all depends on what quality is acceptable to you and what is more important. The more you spend the more likely you are to get nearer having both in one.

The above poster is right ... sort of like looking for the best vehicle that is a sports car and offroad vehicle in one ... a compromise which gives you mediocre results with both applications.  

Choose which medium you want to provide the best images and then buy it ... camera or video camera.
