  1. When you start having questions about birth parents, some adults in your life can help.  It's best to start with your adoptive parents.  Adoptive parents know you will have questions as you grow up, and will know how to start finding answers.  The agency that placed you for adoption can help too.  They might have more information and can help with talking to your adoptive parents and maybe help locate your biological parents.  Good luck.  It's all part of learning about you.

  2. I do think you might need to wait until you're 18...  But here's some information to get you started...

    Register your info here:

    http://www.isrr.net

    http://registry.adoption.com/

Check here for information on your state records -

    http://adopteerights.net/

(click on the page marked 'Searchers' down the left hand side)

Check here for search help - and links to FREE search angels -

Assuming you were adopted through an agency, they may offer reunion facilitation services. (It will cost money, though not as much as a private investigator.)  Check with them.

    Good luck to you...

  3. You could always ask you adoptive parents for information and help. Or go on a web site and regester for a world wide search, however it will coast you over 1000$. If you and one of you adoptive parents go to the agency they can ask for information. But until you turn 18 there isn't much you can do, go on google and type in the website from the agency you were adopted from that might help. Good Luck

  4. Kansas has never sealed adoption records as have other States so, as soon as you're 18 go get your records

All the best.  Hang in there.

  5. Um??? This is NOT the place to be looking! THere are places to go for help!

Call the natioonal Boys and Girls Hotline or Visit the website for missing and exploited children!

    Hope this helps!

  6. Congratulations - you were born in one of the few states that lets you have your original birth certificate.  You will have to wait until you're 18 though.

  7. Until you turn 18 there isn't much help available and even then you might not get much info to help you search. You can search on your own though. Post on adoption registries online, put an add in a Wichita newspaper on your birthday, join groups for people searching in Kansas.

Maybe someone else will be able to help more. Best of luck!
