My boss is asking me to look for blue paper rags that our mechanics can use in their shop. These rags are disposable and recycleable and they come in a big dispencer and also come with a container for them to be throw away I mean to be be recycled.

Has anyone ever heard of these and can maybe help me find them.

Thanks in advance!

  1. most automotive stores have them. Places like AutoZone, Discount Auto parts, Advanced auto parts .etc...

  2. Home Depot sells them. Or something very similar.

  3. Scott Paper used to make them. I suspect that Kimberly Clark retained the Scott name after taking over the part of Scott that makes dry wipes etc.

At the time of the takeover, Scott was working on improvements to WetTask. It consists of a dispensing bucket which takes rolls of dry web. You can soak the web in a solvent of your choice. The nice thing is that it cuts way back on the VOCs in the air and still does a good job in cleaning mechanical parts. If the product is still around, you might want to consider it.
