  1. Check Usborne Books for some great activity and craft books.  Big Book of Playtime Activities is great for a reference in your classroom - find it at http://www.ubah.com/g2687

  2. u can make hats out of ice cream containers during easter days...or summer .

u just need to put glitter and designs by ur students....

i hope that would be great!! :)

  3. large role of butcher paper, crayons or paint.

roll out the paper and have a child lay down.  trace them and then let them paint/color themselves.

    or

cut a piece of clear contact paper any size you want.  remove the backing.  place sticky side up on a table or floor with the corners bent under to hold it down.  allow the child to put on/take off all kinds of collage pieces, scraps of paper, feathers, etc.  once done, you can (if flat enough) replace the backing sheet to seal the project.  this is a great project for father's/mother's day or christmas.  you can put a picture of the child in the piece and the child can decorate, seal it and send it home for a placemat or desk blotter.

  4. I have a book that was given to me for my toddler... for preschool...

    Or here's a site:

  5. There are so many fun crafts you can have them do....a lot of popular ones help them learn things like colors and shapes.

For a star, you can read to them the story of the Lonely Starfish (http://the-office.com/bedtime-story/lone... and have them do the following activity:

    Starfish neckalace/medallion

Materials: light colored construction paper or white paper, yarn (24 inches per child), glue and scissors.  Materials to decorate star:  one or a combination of:  glitter glue, sequins, bird seed, and dried pasta to insert on yarn.

have them decorate their starfish and you can use them to decorate your room.

or you can use stensils to have them trace their names on construction paper and let them decorate (with glitter, macaroni, etc) and personalize their pieces of paper such as drawing their favorite animal and coloring their favorite color, that way you can have all the names of your students hung around the class
