Can you recommend a really good quality restaurant in Birmingham. preferably one with good fish/vegetarian food?

Not actually in Birmingham, but in Knowle, near to Solihull; so only really a short drive from the city Centre,; Loch Fyne, Fish Restaurant. Excellent food, and they have a vegetarian menu too. You will find their website through google.

I WAS in Birmingham last weekend and we found a fab Italian restaurant called 'Locanto Picalilli' just off St. Paul's Square.

San Carlo, Temple Street, Birmingham city centre.  Very close to the cathedral.

I have eaten in there and it is very nice.  They serve fish, Italian food as well as many other dishes.
