Our processional is Canon in D, I'm going down the aisle to "Only Time" by Enya, now I'm sort of stuck for a recessional and I'm not much for the traditional stuff...anyone have any suggestions?

  1. If your ceremony is in a church you may have some restrictions on what types of music you can choose.  With that said there are plenty of non traditional classical and instrumental peices you can choose.

You should talk to your musicians as they should have some good suggestions, and you want to make sure they are familiar with whatever you choose.

Here are some good sites that should help:

  2. I love the song I'm Yours by Jason Mraz

  3. We did "Everyday" by Buddy Holly in instrumental. I kinda stole the idea from another bride who used "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles in instrumental.  Think of a classic upbeat oldies song with cute lyrics and do it in instrumental.  It's very cute.

  4. I'm a Believer (I couldn't leave her if I tried) - The Monkees

  5. Seeds Of Love by Loreena McKennitt is a wonderful choice for this!
