i got a playnest in doughnut shape, from argos few days back,so tht it can help my 6months old baby to sit in it n play. its outer cover is something like thick cotton while there is a ring of plastic material for inside as a filler of tht cotton cover.tht plastic ring is supposed to b filled with air-pump or something like tht. now the problem is my baby was playing while siting in it and i dont know how tht plastic ring hasen got pierced n had a hole in it.now if even if we try to fill it with air,its not filled. i think its become useless now. i dont want to lose tht outer cotton cover. i wanna ask how to fill tht cover with some other material so tht i can use it for my baby. should i fill it with cotton, big pieces of cloths or what. i have no idea wht to do with it and from where to get the filling material for it. it just came in my mind not to waste it and try to find out whatelse can b done with that. looking for ur suggestions. thanks:)

  1. You can use any stuffing material that is soft yet firm enough...usually a polyester or poly-cotton blend stuffing is best. They have it at craft or fabric stores and even in the craft/fabric department of Walmart. You can buy it by the bag or by the box depending on how much you will need. If you have old pillows at home you no longer plan to use you can even steal the stuffing out of them to fill the ring with. Just (obviously) be sure not to use a "bean" type of stuffing because if a seam breaks open the baby could choke on them. If you are concerned with keeping the cost down you could also cut up old (and soft) clothing and stuff it with the pieces. It will be rather heavy if you choose to do that, though. Hope that helps :)

Oh! and P.S.! There are several types of poly stuffing available....some is lighter and some is heavier and firmer, so be sure to feel & squish the bags before you choose which type. Also, the item will fill smoother (less lumpy) if you push very large clumps or continuous strands of it into the item to be stuffed. Putting smaller handfuls in at a time can make it appear or feel lumpy. And be sure to buy enough of it....you will be absolutely shocked when you see how much of it can be stuffed into that ring!!
