it had 100,000 miles and a 3.4 liter engine with ram air. I would like to calculate a trip from green bay, WI to tampa, Fl so if I could get some kind of idea on what mileage I am getting, then I could calculate what I would spend on gas....any replies are greatly appreciated!

  1. Check out this website.

Just input your information and you will have your info.

    www.fuelcostcalculator.com

  2. Depending on how fast wou drive , what shape the car is in and the grade of fuel you use you should get between 25-30 mpg.

  3. Wash and wax it..change the oil, oil filter, air filter  fuel filter  check tranny dipstick and coolant...make sure tires are good and inflated to spec.  Stash spare oil, tranny fluid and water somewhere. Make sure you know where the spare tire is etc.

Get on googlemaps.com or yahoomaps.com or whatever and plot your route.

I would expect 18-20 miles per gal average in the grand  am.( if it's more good...but expect it anyway)

You gotta get it in the best shape you can...it's a long trip.

Simple things mean a lot.  Have fun...!!!!
