Looking for golfing buddy in the Nottingham area.?

Question

I try and visit Nottingham every other summer - I live in Texas. I would like to play golf next year (2009) probably around August. I will be staying in the Carlton/Gedling area, and would like to know if anyone might want to play on a course not too far from the Nottingham area. I shoot in the low 90's, but after what I saw at the British Open Championship this past week, maybe I need to add 10 strokes.

If you want to teach me then Ill be your buddy! lol.. Ive always wanted to learn how to play but unfortunately the only time Ive played is on the wii!! :( :(!!! Its just not fair!!!

i live in peterborough about an hour away fron nottingham i live in a house full of golfers (3 to be precise), there is a fantastic golf course fairly central to these areas called greetham valley,
