Looking for good websites where I can order intro to geometry books and grammar stuff and review of Spanish 1-2 for my son to work on over the summer. He is going into 9th grade. Everything I see is for K-8

  1. Are you a homeschooling parent, or does your child attend Public School?  If you homeschool then why not just start next year's work a little early?

If he is going into Public School and you are just looking for supplemental practice over summer, http://www.edhelper.com has practice in basic subjects for all grades.  There is a fee to join to site, but after that it is free for a whole calendar year.

You can also find some free courses at http://www.free-ed.net

  2. What about going ahead and starting the first section of 9th grade curriculum that you have (or will) purchased?  Most of the curriculum I have seen is a review at the beginning.  If you find a problem, go back and concentrate heavier on working through the issue more closely.

  3. Here's a great list of free homeschooling curriculum that includes programs for highschoolers:

    http://www.successful-homeschooling.com/...

This list of free homeschooling resources also includes high school foreign language materials:

    Hope this helps!
