Looking for good restaurant near Frankenmuth, MIchigan?

Hi, I've been visiting Frankenmuth, Mich. with my family for over 20 years.

We usually eat one night at the Bavarian Inn but are looking to try something else. We always eat at some places like Zehnder's (amazing!), Tony's near Birch Run, Culver's, A&W's....

What I was looking for was another place to eat at night in or near Frankenmuth, preferably not a chain restaurant? Any ideas would really be nice!

We don't know the name of this restaurant, but a few blocks north of Bavarian Inn and Zhenders, on main street, on the west side of th street, there is a small german type eatery, on a corner, parking lot in rear and also rear entrance, that has excellent food and very friendly service.

  We have also been to the two main restaurants in town and in looking for something with less of a crowd, we came across this place and have been there many times since.

  It's a welcome change from Zhenders, and reasonable prices.
