I found a Celestia Barbar listed on the 1850 Census for Canton, Saint Lawrence, New York with a male Amos Smith, 71.  Additional household members were James Smith, 33, Evaline 31, and Ira 3.  Amos and James were farmers.  Although this is not the date you list as the same birth date, census records are not always accurate as far as birth dates.  This also may not be your Celestia Barbar.  If you have any additional details - siblings, etc. I may be able to provide additional results.  I will keep searching and edit if I find additional details.
