Looking for information on a Wittnauer watch.?

I have a Wittnauer watch that has been passed down to me and it is from the late 1940's - early 1950's. I know that it was given as a gift in 1950. From looking online at other watches I am assuming that the one that I have has a 'tank case' all 14k white gold. I am looking to find some information on it, and possibly get it appraised. Are there any watch enthusiast's out there that can help? Is there a specific web site that you reccomend? Thanks so much for all your help!

Try searching on EBay.  There may be one similar for sale.
