I am loooking for information on a Great, Great Uncle of mine. His name was Ralph Hayhurst he lived and had his own firm in Auckland. I believe the firm was something to do with inventing and he made an invention that unblocked sinks. It was a fokr that was put down the pipe and then you put the tap on and it blasted the gunk away. He used to tell my grandad when he came over to the UK that every plumber in New Zealand had one.He also invented something called the chairboy which was used for big game fishing and we believe he died roughly 25 years ago.If anyone has any information on him or his company it would be most appreciated.
