  1. heres what you can do 1# 3 cotton balls 2#Glue them on top of each other 3#glue little googly eyes on 4# you can cut out a tiny hat 5# glue hat on 6# you are done now you have a snowman

  2. Make a collage of sporting events in winter, vacation spots in winter, or things found in the winter. Kids love to cut out items in magazines for this project. Have them clue them on contruction paper (can be different colored) and hang them.  Or if you could hang them in the hallway by your door so that everyone who passes by will see them.

  3. Well, this is what you can do:

    1. Either you or the kids cut 3 circles. One small, medium and large.(for a snowman) and glue them together in order

2.Next, you have the kids glue 3 buttons on the middle (medium) snowman.

3.Then, you cut out skinny strips of brown paper for the arms and glue them on.

    4. Instead of making a face out of a carrot etc. You have them bring in a picture or you use their school pics and glue it in the face.

  4. You could make a paper quilt to display in the classroom. Let the kids color and/or paint quilt squares with a winter theme and have them help assemble the pieces with tape or glue.

  5. have ur children make valentine day boxes this way they can put their own trist to it. All they need to do is get a shoe box. you cut a hole in it for a card then they decorate. Use paper hearts glitter pasa puff balls anything it will be a blast and a great for the valentine day party if you have on they can stuff if with valentine cards.

  6. Collages work at anytime per year and are developmentally appropriate.

  7. CD Valentine - Musical Homemade Valentine Craft

Great for a unique valentine or Valentine's day party craft!

There are two options for this craft - "Quick and Easy"

and advanced. Select which will work better for your

    children and purposes.

    Advanced CD Heart

    You'll Need

Plastic CD's (save the free CD's that come in the mail)

    Glue Gun

    Permanent Marker

    Candy Hearts

Mod - Podge craft glue sealer- craft store

    Construction paper

First if necessary, cover any print or images on one side

of your CD's with paper and a glue stick.

On the opposite side, apply candy hearts with craft glue or Mod-Podge. Leave enough room for the message on the front, or write your message on the back. Allow the glue to dry.

Then brush a thin coat of Mod-Podge over the decorated side, be sure to completely cover the candies. This step seals and protects the candies and adds a nice shine - Dry.

When the Mod-Podge is dry, use a permanent marker to write

a message, poem or Valentine Pun:

"Your love makes my heart sing!"

"Be my valentine and we can create beautiful music together"

Your love is music to my heart"

Add a ribbon for hanging (optional)

  8. Make a Valentines Day card.

  9. snowmen (use glue and shaving cream and let them paint it on a snowman cut out - takes a couple days to dry but it's fluffy and awesome) - they can add chocolate chip eyes, candy corn nose, felt scarf and buttons.  We did this last week and they turned out great!  The children love the sensory sensation of the mixture.

  10. make cut-out paper snowflakes...

  11. do spring time collage, like pick up leaves off the ground and take blossem from the trees although it isn't really spring, maybe do a winter on and put fake snow over a paper mashae igloo and do lickle snow men and maybe if u can or know sum 1 who can knit little hats and srafs for the miniture snowmen. And get every kid 2 do one and then sell them at a reasonable price as you sell cake with icing sugar on and put up white decorations. U no them paper hoop things like paper chains but in whites and pale colours, that'll keep the little kids busy and you could earn some money in the process to spend on a sand pit!!
