There is a vendor at a local flea market that comes in with meat, yogurt, hams, etc. every week, and all of it is still good: (he brings it in a freezer).

How do I find out where (he won't tell me) so I can get it and go to a seperate flea market and sell it like he does? I do know he pays a small percentage, because he sells $20. spiral hams for $10. so he can't be paying a lot for them to begin with.

BTW: We are in SW Pennsylvania

  1. If you are in SW Pennsylvania, I'd bet that the guy you are seeing at the flea market gets his stock from the Mennonite store in Oakland, Maryland.

It is just the sort of place that you are describing.  They sell overstock and almost out-of-date products at huge discounts, like boxes of cereal for $1 (or less).  Oakland is about 30 miles south of the PA-MD line, down US 219.

There might be other Mennonite stores even closer that do the same sort of thing, but this is the one I know about, and it sure sounds like what you are looking for.  Unfortunately, I don't have an exact address for you, but Oakland is a very small town (less than 2,000 people), so when you get there, just ask.

I hope this helps.  Good luck!!
