Looking for maid in Bahrain

Dear Friends,

This week I will be in Bahrain, and I will be needing maid who can cook, wash clothes, house cleaning, and iron. I will not be with my family and living alone in Bahrain. Is it possible to have maid or is there any restrictions for single member to avail this facility. (I do not want to sponsor any maid .. as per one of my friend's reply).

Its actually illegal to hire a maid who is not sponsored by you though the practise is prevalent in Bahrain. Anyways you being single cannot sponsor a maid. When you come to Bahrain you will get such a so called free visa maid depending on the area where you are staying and they would charge anywhere from BD1-2 /hr of work.
