Looking for medical answers-How soon after eating (when pregnant) does the baby "know" or also "eat"?

Just asking because every time I eat I feel her moving and kicking shortly after I start to eat. I asked this question in another section and didnt get any answers. I would like to know medically if someone knows. thanks :-)

the baby doesn't "eat".  it gets all it's nutrients thru the blood.  the reason for it's kicking when you eat, is it is losing room, as your stomach fills with food, it gets pushed on and objects to it.
