  1. Hi Puppy,

There is nothing wrong or unusual for adopted persons to want to know their origins and their first families.  It has nothing at all to do with your love for your adoptive family.  Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Now then, in a public records search on zabasearch.com, I found the following entry.  This woman would have been about 21 or 22 at the time of your birth.  Does that sound right to you?

    RENEE MCCHORD

    Born  Jun 1964

    6158 FROST LN

    LAKE OSWEGO, OR  97035

  2. When my mom wanted to find out more info about her birth mom, who was from minnesota, she sought out public records at the courthouse.  she found the place where she grew up and everything. Maybe worth a try??  Good luck!!:)

  3. yeah try facebook or myspace or google search, yellowpages.com, good luck. =]

  4. try www.adopteeconnect.com

    Good luck!

  5. check out www.adultadoptees.com.  many people there are in reunion and can help you...

ETA: "So u want her to play mommy now that all of the hard work is done? Why dont you appreciate your real parents (the ones that RAISED YOU and didnt just give you away)>>> that would be a start. you are so ungrateful"--

    L..

and you wonder why people are "self-rightous"...or whatever you meant in your cryptic a$s question.

    please seek help...

  6. L is a retarded *****

  7. I understand what you feel. I was adopted at the age of 12. I lived in the foster care system since the age of 4. I always had a way to find my parents but its hard to do. If I were you I would go to the agency that you were adopted out of. You are over 21 and they can give you your records. I am currently on the search for my dad, Kevin Schuman, but he doesnt want to be found. Just keep trying. And dont worry, you arent ungrateful for trying to find her. They just dont understand what it feels like to have a part of you that you wont understand until you find her. Keep your head up!!!

  8. go on maury

  9. I know this is going to sound stupid and obvious, but try facebook. That's how my half sister found my father.

  10. Do you know what agency your parents used to adopt you?

A lot of agencies will give you the information once you've turned 18, if your birth mother said they could when you were born.

    Best of luck!!

Not sure why this got a thumbs down, but keep up your search and don't let unpleasant people get you down!

  11. Don't listen to that one chick, L.  She's just bein' a *****
