Looking for my Grandfather (deceased)?

Question

He died on June 29 1986, before i was born. i have looked online for his Obituary, but all i find are sites that require me to pay...im 17 and dont have much money...my Family wont give me that much information, i am afraid to ask my grandmother for fear of upsetting her. i know his name, date of death and where he lived...any free websites that you know of? i would like to visit his gravesite on his date of death...any help would be greatly appriciated

Try this site. It is free but will not give you all the info. Just some of the basics such as date of death,SS# if known and place of death. It will list all people with the same name but by process of elimination of state you might find him listed on here.
