Hi Rosemary,

The first thing you should do is register your details with International Soundex Reunion Registry.  It's free, it's worldwide, it's well-known.  That's how I found several of my family members.

There are other registries online you can do too.  We have some Canadian adoptees on this forum who may be able to offer additional, specific information to help you as well.

I know in Onario we have the birth parent registry. You can sign up and if your child signs up then they will match you.

I don't have the site address, however, I am sure you can just google it.
