I am wondering how to search for my daughter. I know the names of the couple that adopted her, where they lived at the time when the adoption was final. naturally after about 2 years they sold their home and moved on, I do not know where. Any tips on where I could start without having to pay an arm & a leg for many different search agencies...???

  1. You don't say how old your daughter is? I know how hard it is to want to find your daughter. My sister found a search angel who found my daughter, this person doesn't do it anymore. It cost me 50.00. That was in 2001. Good luck.

  2. How old is your daughter?

I found my daughter on myspace.com last year just before Halloween and I met her Christmas! She is 23.

And I am still looking for my Mother but all I have is a name and the age she was when i was born no DOB...nothing else, my father raised me and my sister and cant remember much.

    Good Luck and God Bless

  3. Get on line and search for adoption registrations...kids are looking for their biological parents, too! Try "Intelius", too. They may give you some basics to go on and the actual fee to join is not that bad. You could "google" the parents names too...you might strike gold. There are lots of ways to do it, really. As an adopted person who found her biological mother and heard her "story", I support you. Lots of us "kids" want to know...or see someone we are actually related to! Unless you're one of "us" you'll never understand...Good luck and God bless. KJL (met my biological mother when I was about 50 years old)

  4. I would use a combination of US Search to find a possible state ( without paying anything you can do a search by name and estimated age of adopters ) and then you can take the results and run a more direct search with name and county or state on Blackbook Online : http://www.blackbookonline.info/

    good luck!

  5. the people that worked at the tell them her name and they can do research to help you find her.*******

    p.s. good luck

  6. You gave your daugter up, why now are you trying to look for her? All it will do is confuse her.

  7. i have found people from these two sites,

www.addresses.com once you type in their name(s) it'll tell you info but if you want to kno more you Do have to pay, and then there is this one www.reunion.com and you have to register and then after they give you the first few names they charge you for more names you type in, I deff would check out www.addresses.com I have found 5 friends off there. I def wish you luck on your journey for reuniting with your daughter! don't give up! =]

  8. with the information you have it may be quite easy to find them. I am an adoption search angel and i would be happy to help you. You can email me gavins_mom2003@hotmail.com

  9. Gershom has excellent suggestions.  US Search (Intellius.com) has proved a good source.  I've also had great luck with Classmates.com, Ancestry.com, KnowX.com and even MySpace.com.  One thing I was thinking is that since you know the adopteive parents' names, do you know what they named your daughter?  Depending on how old your daughter is now, you may be able to search directly for her.  If you know her name, she may have a MySpace.com page or be in Classmates.com.

Good luck to you!  My natural dad and I reuniting has been a great thing for both of us and I hope you are just as fortunate and then some!

  10. you could always try whitepages.com and search them there. . . .  it might not be very efficient but it mite work, you never know!!!
