Looking for my first motorcycle, what one would be good for beginners and for a larger man?

Im 6'3" and 260lbs i was thinking about a honda shadow sprit 750 would that be big enough for me at 6'3" and would my weight be an issue?

good choice. managable power and weight with forgiving handling. i have an old cb750 which is around the same size and weight. im 6'1 and its the perfect bike for me. you could get away with something as small as a cb250 or a ninja 250 but the shadow is your best bet

i concur with your choice i had the same kind of bike and i am very please with the performance and handling i had it for a year and a half put 6500 miles on it and never had a problem height and weight is never an issue with this type of motorcycles
