Looking for my relatives, Uhles.?

My name is Lance Uhles and my father was Russell John Uhles born 1925 in peoria, Illinois. I think his dad or my grandfather was named Clarence or Charles. Just trying to trace my roots.

Was your dad adopted Lance, the only information I can find is that his mum and dad were called George and Hazel,  in the 1930 USA federal census.

Do you have a copy of your father's birth certificate? His father's name would be on there. Or your grandparents marriage certificate? I realize that's really stretching it.

It looks like your grandparents were married sometime between 1920 and 1925 and your grandfather died or they were divorced and your mother remarried before 1930.
