Looking for organizations that could help me on my path to a medical field..?

I'm in high school, and there aren't many clubs in my school. I plan on volunteering at the hospital and shadowing a doctor, but what other organizations (maybe humanitarian oriented) could I join? Any info or advice would be helpful, thanks!

Perhaps you could start your own club at school. The American Red Cross has a program that encourages students to start their own Red Cross Campus club. Not only will this help you be more engaged in your medical/humanitarian interests, it could show colleges your leadership potential. Since there aren't many clubs at your school, this club could potentially be very successful if there are other students like you!
