I am not a Ragan, but if I were looking for Irish relatives, I would post this question  over in the travel section.  Might find a long lost cousin in that forum.

I just had a look at the County Limerick genealogy site for you but there were no mentions of Ragan (or Regan which is more common over here) However if you get on to the site the site owner may be able to help you as he is personally interested in the historic names associated with Co. Limerick.  Are you sure you have the right County. In Co. Roscommon and Co. Leitrim you cant move for them. You could also try to get hold of records of births deaths and marriages from the records office in Limerick but try the first suggestion. www.countylimerickgenealogy.  Best Wishes Alan in Ireland
