Looking for safe tropical islands to live on.?

I would like to live on a tropical island that is safe and inexpensive, income under 2k per month for approx 3 months.

if you are looking for security and cheap, i think malaysia is nice Also thailand, singapore, hongkong (but not that cheap), vietnam, philippines (but avoid the southern part which is called mindanao) - northern part of philippines is better to live and safer.
