  1. Get a car what you can afford. Get a good car that will last very long. Get an ecomocal car to save money. Get the car that you like and lots of room for your stuff and passenages. Very cheap for a very good car.

  2. It's great having access to a car. No more public transport, relying on friends, waiting for lifts etc.

But be prepared for all your money to vanish.

  3. Try saving up your money and going to a car auction. You can get a car there for way less than what you would pay anywhere else. Just make sure you inspect anything before you buy it because they are sold in as-is condition.

  4. www.craigslist.com  They have some really good deals on used cars, and they have a few new ones too.

  5. Save your money, look for a cheaper car.

Lower your price to around $2500 and save every nickel of your paycheck until you have most of the cash in hand. Show your parents how much you've saved and how practical you are by choosing an inexpensive car. Ask them if they can pitch in and help with the last few hundred bucks.   Dad will say yes!
