i'm just testing this out. i wrote it, and i'm not sure how well it's gonna go over, so i'm hoping to get some feedback on here. here's the lyrics:

Take it up

Show me up

Throw my hands up

Stares you use

Words we abuse

All the love we misuse

Come down, turn around, and face it,

Shake it off, run it down, and make it…happen

You wanna lift me up, and drag me back down,

Fill my heart, break it, and I can’t take it…anymore

You laugh at me

Just to anger me

If you want to leave, then leave me

Cuz I don’t need this in my life

Don’t need the pain, the strife

Relieve my back of this knife

Come down, turn around, and face it,

Shake it off, run it down, and make it…happen

You wanna lift me up, and drag me back down,

Fill my heart, break it, and I can’t take it…anymore

You lie to me,

You lie to me.

  1. Great guitar playing and singing of a talented, budding song writer.

If you intend to write a sad, hear wrenching song of hurt and victimhood, I'd advise you to end it with a note of hope otherwise it tends to bring the listeners down enotionally and not really want to listen to the song again unless they don't mind wallowing in the victimized self pitty of the character in the lyrics.

  2. it is harribal to borying spice it up have a couris that repeats  change the words to they make you seem angry

  3. great guitar parts, great voice... what's with the lryrics? i'm getting sick of everybody right bout there sorrows and be really sad. Well guess what, we don't have much time to live, why be sad? might as well make the best of it.
