I am searching for my birth mother/father. I was born in Indianapolis, IN, July 12 1968. My birth mother was staying at St Elizabeths home for unwed mothers for a time. The adoption was handled by Catholic Charities. I have been searching for years, would love to find ANY info.

  1. omg i think i might be your birth mother all the information is correct.ooooooooommmmmmmmmmgggggggggg

  2. I had the almost identical situation, only with me being the birth mother (and in another state).  My son was able to find me with the help of Catholic Charities/Social Services in his state; perhaps you could start there.  From what he told me, they are a lot more helpful now than they were back then.  I wish you much good luck at finding your birth parents.  My life has been made fuller by finally getting to meet and know my son.

  3. I wish you the best of luck with your search. Please stay in contact with me. I would love to know if you have caught up with your family.

    May Peace Be With You!

  4. you need call city  look  zaba search.com or call Catholic Charities get a adoption law

  5. Given the timing you are outlining i doubt this site will be all that much help.  You are probably on the outer cusp for site usership as your mother/father are probably 60+ at this point it is unlikely they or anyone with direct knowledge of your situation goes here.

    Good luck though.

  6. I hope that you find your birth mother.  My husband shares your birthday with you!  I'd first try to contact Catholic Social Services, and give them your inforamation, and build on that.  It's a long and difficult process, but be sure to be prepared when you actually find your birth mother.  She may or may/not be willing to meet with you, and guard your heart.  Know the people that you have in your life love you and care for you, and don't let ANY bad or negative things affect you when you eventually find her.  Best wishes to you in your search!

  7. heres the info I have for IN since you've been searching for years, you probably already have it all, but just incase you don't...
