Question:

Looking for the Calif Deceptive Trade Act Commission Law?

After we purchased our home we discovered evidance of attempted repair to the roof vents that are cracked and need to be replaced before the winter snow comes, this was not stated in the disclosure statement. We believe that the seller, agents and brokers are in violation with the California Real Estate law. I am researching to see if my information is correct regarding this possible violation.

  1. Not sure, but you could look here.

  2. The first person you should call is your Realtor. They should know what to do to help protect your interests.

If they are unhelpful try the second link listed

I know hindsight is always 20/20 but...the best $500 bucks you can ever spend is on a HOME INSPECTION prior to purchasing a home.
