I have tried "har meen"(prawn mee) at Lim Restaurant PJ , the taste now is not good as earlier, looking for new places to eat. For the "char kuey teow", I still cant find any good one in KL.

  1. Char Kuey Teow is so excellent in Penang!!! I had tons and tons. But i guess you're talking about in town, so... i think there's a really neat place in Dataran Damansara. One of the hawker stalls. Enjoy!

  2. har meen in chow yang restaurant in ss2 pj is not so bad..

char kuey teow in the same place is pretty good too!

  3. There are a lot of places that sell this kind of dishes. Many sell good prawn noodle/mee and fried (char) kuey teow and some don't. If you're in Manjalara, Kepong (the outskirts of KL), try getting fried kuey teow in certain restaurants. Trust me; the taste isn't too bad! ^ ^ As for prawn noodle, you'll find it when you enter the place called Taman Indah Perdana and find a restaurant near it. I highly recommend it!

  4. you cant really find them good in KL but you can find it almost everywhere in penang.

    "yum-yum"

  5. The best har meen in PJ is in OS restaurant in Paramount garden. In fact the hawker food there are all of pretty good quality.

Char Kuey Teow is good at Neighbours Coffeshop in Dataran Damansara. The stall in the scoffee shop behind neighbours is not bad. Think the stall name is Robert.
