Looking for the best deal on traveling from Ireland (either Cork or Shannon) to the U.S.?

Edited to say that we plan to travel within the next three weeks. Will be traveling to Atlanta.

Depends what time of year you want to travel. You'll always pay more in the summer months. The best day to fly to the USA from Ireland is St Patrick's Day - you'll get a flight with Aer Lingus from Dublin to JFK for about €100 plus tax.

Well if you go to the airport site ( www.shannonairport.com ) or (  www.corkairport.com   )  you will find fight schedules for all outgoing flights .... There will be a list of the flights  going to your chosen destinaton  If they go at all... You might be able to get a transfer flight for example;  Shannon to Newyork adn Newyork to Altanta or somthing like that .. Also you could get a flight to London Heathrow and then fly to Atlanta etc. If you choose this option go to www.ryanair.com for really really cheap flights from Shannon/Cork to London........ Aer Lingus from Shannon is prob your best bet for flying direct (depending on where you want to fly to in the US of course). Their cheapest prices are online www.aerlingus.com Other than that, you can look for flights that connect you through London. can sometimes be less expensive, but take longer. It's really up to you which you prefer...

Use www.kayak.com to get an idea of different options of carriers for the route your interested in, and then check those airlines websites yourself because you can sometimes find cheaper prices on them yourself.

Hi,

There are no direct flights to the USA from Cork, but good connections available if you are willing to go via London or Amsterdam in particular.

Delta fly from Shannon and Dublin to Atlanta. If you want a cheap flight, AerLingus are probably your best option but they do not fly direct to Atlanta.
