Looking for the best price for Harleys.?

I live in Wisconsin and I'm looking to buy a Harley dose anybody know of some good dealers or sites that have a large selection of used bikes that are fairly priced. preferbally in the midwest please.

best place for lower price on used harleys is a honda or yamaha dealer.

Harleys will still be expensive, but buying a used one is less expensive than buying one new.

Wow, you live in the state of the factory!!! Look online and check out the local Harley shops, if you want a new one. I live in Texas, and the shops here also have a great variety of used bikes. Otherwise check out the want ads or classifieds. Around here there are other motorcycle shops that sell used bikes, check it out in your state. Good Luck finding what you want. !!!!

There is a place here in Kansas that only sales used Harley's, mostly repo's. They have a great selection and they are always adding and getting more.

There are loads of good used HD out there. many were bought by people who bought into the advertising then later realised they don't actually like motorcycles.

Problem with that crowd is they want too much for used bike. HD has cut production to maintain inflated pricing so you have a lot of choice

My friend buys all of his Harleys either from people who have one sitting in their barn or garage and never use it.  He asks everyone he meets if there is someone with a Harley they never ride.  He got one 1/2 price that had been ridden once. Sitting in a guy's garage.

Or he buys on eBay.  i asked him if he wasn't worried about getting cheated.  He would go from Wisconsin to Indiana to buy a bike.  He only had a few minutes to check it over.  He had more time than that but he never took it to a mechanic.  He says that everyone he meets on eBay is honest.  

He gets great prices.

I would also suggest that you write a description of yourself in an ad on Craiglist under the "wanted" section of the cars and motorcycles.  What fun if you got a bike that was well-cared for and seldom used but the owner wasn't really thinking about selling.  Usually someone else sees your ad and tells the owner of the bike.

Where are you going to go when you get the bike?  Head south.   It was cold the last time i was in Milwaukee.

Check out your local area Victory dealer. They will have Harleys from people that finally wised up and traded them in on a superior product and tghey sell em cheap

lol good luck finding a fair price. your not a real rider till you get grazed with that huge sticker price. if your looking for a used bike dont go thorough a dealer. think of it this way. dealers buy and take in used bikes as trade. and of course there gonna make money off it. so you know what you do? you beat them to the bike. get it before they do and you wont have to pay as much as 5 thousand more than they did. my old man traded in his '05 fatboy last year. they gave him 12,000 for it. they sold it a few months later for around 15,000. get my drift?

While on vacation earlier this year in Daytona Beach, I visited the world's largest Harley Davidson dealership.  It is called Bruce Rossmeyer's Harley Davidson.  It is located in Ormond Beach Florida located on I95.

They have hundreds of new Harleys of every configuration and price range imaginable.  I saw some on the showroom floor for as little as $7000.

They also sell over the Internet.  See the link below.

Everyone who appreciates Harley Davidson should see this dealership.  You name it, he has it.  I guess because he is the worlds largest Harley dealer, he gets all the good stuff first.

i was under the impression WI was the cheapest place for used harley's because so many employees all sell their bikes privately there and get a good deal on new ones every year.... try craiglist

you can hang out at a harley dealership and offer more than they are going to offer in the trade in , also look on craigslist , find the model and the price you want to pay and make that offer and wait it out til that person sells at the price you want to pay

Search -Harley Davidson dealers, (state)- Start with closest state and move out as far as you will drive. You've got Mich, Ind, Ill, Iowa, minn all around you. Shop and compare as they say... this year is unique with HD... sales are down... some dealers are overstocked and the new modles are out in a month (aug.)
