working with kids teaching environmental ed and i want to do an activity comparing decomposition rates of various things... anyone help?? orange peels, cigaretted butts, aluminum, shoe soles, meat, plastic bag, treated wood (for decking), plastic bottles, any other cool typical items that kids as young as 6 years would recognize. thanks for the help geniuses! i havent found much useful stuff on the web.
