A friend of mine recently copied a picture claiming it as her own,

I cannot find said picture to prove myself correct to our friends,

but, I have the matching picture of the one she copied.

Is she claiming the character or the drawing itself?  Because it looks like she just mixed in some of her creativity into an existing image--fan art.  There's nothing much you can do about it, really...

Edit: Well, that's a problem you got there--but are you just doing this to kill her ego?  The picture you already found should be enough evidence to show it's not her original character.
