Looking for the right plates...Can anyone recommend a nice quality luncheon plate?

I want an everyday plate for lunch with my daughter. We have nice Denbyware for supper with the whole family, but need a non-breakable, dishwasher safe, but nice looking lunch plates. I realize quality can mean shelling out some dough - but it will worth it, if you can find me the right ones! Thanks.

Pier One Imports has nice sets that are what you describe.

Pfalztzgraff has items that are called "melamine" - search their website and the melamine lunch plates should be good for you.
