Looking for this poem/ode to engineers?

I'm trying to track down this little ode to engineers, of sorts. I seem to remember it going something like "here's to the men in white shirts/black ties"? Wish I could remember more. I'm starting my first job as an engineer, I think I'd like to pin it up at my desk.

Thanks all!

  1. I do not have a clue about the one you are quoting, I have one you might like:

    The Engineer

    He drafted the plan,

    that developed the land,

    with pencil and paper,

    he will toil and labor,

    he is the building creator.

    Like a prison jailer,

    fiercely protective,

    he guards his drawing,

    unto perfection.

    He will test,

    data he will compile,

    to ponder and wonder,

    success or blunder,

    this,

    his most strenuous quest,

    pass of fail,

    knows,

    he is the best.

    Professionalism,

    illustrates his design,

    his reputation,

    his signature defines,

    when stamped and sealed,

    change or alter,

    there will be no waiver,

    look not to him,

    to be your savior.

    He looks out,

    a hint of a tear,

    what lies before him,

    cries out,

    as to cheer,

    he is,

    the Engineer.
