Question:

Looking for two city laws?

I'm looking for two city laws for Orlando Florida. I want a noise law and a leash law. I looked said Florida doesn't have a leash law state wide.. does it mean they may have one city to city?

I would also like a notice for notice law. I have a neighbor who likes to play base music that thumps through my house (rattles windows) and he lives catty corner behind me. We have already had conflicts with him once before and called the cops. But I would like to have the laws to read

Thanks in advance.

  1. I am not sure about the leash law, but they do have a noise law. I believe if you can hear the radio or what ever 50 ft away, you are breaking the law and can get a ticket.

However, Orlando Police don't usually do much to people. They almost always go easy on every one.

  2. Look here... you'll have to do the search yourself.

  3. Ask at City Hall.

  4. These two are usually not state laws, they usually fall under city ordinances.

loud music is usually under noise nuisance or disturbing the peace just varies city to city. You can call your municipal court or code compliance office and get details.
