  1. I would go online look up recommended books to read.  I also would look up 100 words you sould know for college.  I would also look into Keystone Highschool online.  They have a lot of tools.  Also make sure you have a world map,  globe, almanac, dictionary, all of these learning tools are a must.  Also don't forget to read The O Factor book about Class, Money,  and religion.  Hope the best.  The most important thing is to set goals..Once again good luck, wish you the best!!!

  2. Have you tried homeschooling groups/associations? Some have yearly used book sales or have something set up where people can post resources they have for sale or want to purchase.

  3. Do you have a half priced bookstore near you?  They often have used hs materials.

Here's some additional information on affordable homeschooling:

You can also check for materials on e-bay.  Here are some other places you can check online.

  4. I usually use vegsource and ebay.

and just do a search on ebay for the books you are looking for.

You can also google particular books if you know what you want, often overstock or amazon has them - especially amazon's used books.   I've also gotten some good deals through buy.com  and cbd.com  --- it just takes some searching!
