Reception is more like a dinner party for 40 people. Chef's kitchen will have dimmed lights and be very intimate. Ceremony is semi-formal.

  1. I honestly keep imagining gorgeous decorated bread baskets with fresh bread and oil and vinegar on the side with small floating candles or roses in water or oil lamps.

Or even small bowls of fruit very beautifully decorated. Look up "edible bouquets" in google. Or paper wrapped (and stamped with your initials) pears or apples in the middle.

I can't picture large or tall flower arrangements or any feathers at all. Everything is elegant and classy and very neat and organized.

Try looking up restaurant decorations and restaurant interior design pictures for ideas.

I'm sure whatever you pick will be beautiful.

    All the best.

  2. start thinking of kitchen theme. What about having wine glasses set out with the tags on them? You know the stem jewels that people use to mark their glass-come up with some of those, and put the escort card on one glass, and set the glasses out in pairs. That way when people come in they can get a glass of wine and know where they sit.
