Looking for wedding ceremony ideas.....?

Hey! I am looking for some ideas for our wedding ceremony.. I have looked thru some ideas such as Sand unity, candle ceremony, hand ceremony, rose ceremony, and a few others.. but I am wondering if anyone has any other ideas.. as well I am looking for some cute poems or readings... THANKS!!!!!!!!!

what about writing your own vows - a gauranteed way to make it unique, sincere & heart felt.  instead of reading a poem - you could play a song.

We did a unity candel at our church. Kept it short and sweet as we could for a Catholic mass. Even if it is your big day pretty much everyone else is bored to tears and ready to party at the reception. A year from now you will not even remember the readings at your wedding. Trust me. Do what feels right to you because no one else will really care or remember.

instead of having a floral centerpiece on all the tables i had cakes. each table was a different flavor.

We had our wedding in the round. That was the best! At the end of it our pastor started drumming and everyone had instruments and got up and sang and danced around the circle, then we jumped the broom on the way out.
