Just purchased a macbook and was in search of a wireless router to use other than the airport base station. It seems as though many routers need the windows specs but the mac uses the os x sytem. Am I confused as to what is needed here? I was looking at a D-link wireless N router WRT150N. Any suggestions would be helpful.

  1. Any wireless router will work with your Macbook

  2. Any wireless router will work.  When it mentions Windows in the specs, it is refering  to the software that is used to setup the wireless router.   If you have a friend with a windows notebook, ask them to come over and run the setup on there.

  3. any router would work like a linksys or a belkin i would get a linksys
