Looking for work abroad in Europe--Any suggestions?

I am interested in living and working in Europe, preferably the Netherlands or Spain. I speak English natively and have a basic knowledge of Spanish. I'd love to work in a bar that needs English speakers or something that allows me to meet lots of new people! Most importantly, I am looking for an inexpensive, safe, and enjoyable way to live and work abroad for 3-12 months before going to college. I am very adventurous and flexible but, unfortunately, on a VERY tight budget. It would be great if the job included some sort of living arrangement or exchange.

Any information or suggestions?
