Looking into buying this car and need advice?

I am looking into a used 2000 Mitsubishi Ecplipse for my sixteen year old daughter for her first car. Has anybody ever owned this car, or an eclpise and really likes it? Is it a good first car for a sixteen year old girl?

you can never go wrong with an eclipes stats:

top speed: 145 mph

mpg: about 20 to 23

                                            go for it
